Argentiferous galena with brassy chalcopyrite from the Copps Mine in Gogebic County, Michigan. The Copps Mine was a lead/silver mine worked in the late 19th century on and off over a period of some 20 years. Recently (2017) it became the type locality for a newly discovered mineral, hydroxylpyromorphite. Attractively mounted in a 1¼" perky box.
